How Cultures Around The World Find Work Life Balance for Mental Health
It was really hard to title this episode/post because we spent the first half discussing EFT and the 2nd half discussing the various daily and work cultures around the world in comparison to the states.
EFT tapping, a seemingly simple technique of tapping acupressure points, has gained traction as a tool for stress relief and emotional healing. But beyond its practical applications lies a philosophical depth, a potential to unravel the very fabric of our being and rewrite our narratives.
Imagine our minds as tapestries woven from experiences, beliefs, and emotions. Each thread, a thought, a memory, a judgment, is knotted to others, forming intricate patterns of perception and behavior. Some threads are smooth, others frayed, tangled, or even knotted into painful burdens.
EFT, like a weaver’s comb, gently nudges these threads, loosening the knots, releasing the tension. It invites us to acknowledge the threads, to feel their texture, their emotional charge, without judgment. The act of tapping, a rhythmic dance of fingertips on skin, becomes a conduit for the observation of our inner landscape with an intention of non-attachment.
