How to Find Truth in a Relative Reality

We navigate the world through the lens of our senses and experiences, constructing a reality seemingly solid and objective. The thing is, reality is not absolute, it’s relative. Based not only on the facts that every single person has a different set of experiences that attributes to their beliefs about how the world works, but also, scientifically, as things we once believed to be factual are always being disproven by new findings.

Reality is whatever each of us decides it is. Regardless of what may or may not be fact, we view and interact with the world based on our beliefs of it. This makes it real for us on an individual level, no matter if it’s factual or not.

Imagine two people viewing a sunset. One might be awestruck by the fiery hues, feeling a sense of deep peace. The other, recently heartbroken, might see the fading light as a metaphor for loss, evoking sadness. Their experiences, filtered through their individual emotions and past memories, paint the sunset in completely different colors. This simple scenario illustrates how our perception shapes our reality.

Science, for all its advancements, is constantly evolving. Theories once considered absolute are routinely challenged and sometimes disproven. The discovery of new evidence forces us to re-evaluate our understanding of the universe. Consider the long-held…
